I am so excited

I bought me a laptop with the money I earned blogging.
I am so excited I have never been able to afford a laptop
before and it's something that I have always wanted. Oh
and I also bought me a new phone. I am treating myself
to a few gifts that I need to start out and then the rest
of the money I earn is going to be spoiling my daughter
and my BF. Since my BF is paying all the bills my money
is just play money.

What's worst Dogs or children?

In your opinion what do you think is the worst to take care of?
Children are alot of fun. It's hard work that you have to provide
and all that. But is dogs worse? They don't listen, they pee and poo
everywhere, you have to go outside in the cold to take them out
and they destroy and chew everything. I think dogs are the worst.

Holiday shopping

I don't know about you but my holiday shopping is a breeze this
year. Because I hate going to the store and fighting with the
crowds it gets a little crazy around the holiday time. I am doing
most of my shopping online this year. Not only can I compare
prices and find the best deals but there is a bigger variety of
items, and shipping is the best some places are offering free
shipping with orders over a certain about of dollars. So I can
just sit back and get all my Christmas in the mail. Big stress
relief on my part.

Food Drive

The holidays is coming and there is nothing like
volunteering and giving for the season. Cydcor is
getting involved in a food drive and there employees
to help out so many people that are struggling this
year in the this economy. Everyone should do a little
sharing and giving, it not only makes you feel better
but it's for a good cause. Here is a press release
regarding Cydor:

Cydcor Employees Donate to Pre-Holiday Food Drive

Team members of leading global provider of outsourced,
face-to-face sales teams give groceries and hygiene
products during economy slump.

Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) November 11, 2008 -- Employees
of Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face
sales teams, donated 26 bags of groceries and hygiene products
to a Manna-sponsored food drive in October as part of the
company's ongoing community philanthropy.

Amid an economic downturn that has contributed to rising need,
many local food banks are seeing heavier demand during the
non-holiday season. Cydcor Chief Executive Officer Gary Polson
encouraged team members to get involved in Manna's food drive
efforts after learning about the food banks' plight leading
into the heavy-use holiday season. More than a dozen Cydcor
employees immediately took action and purchased goods for the
cause.

I'm thrilled that Cydcor team members are making an increasing
difference in communities where we live, work and play through
charitable efforts like this. This effort will benefit so many
people at a time of increasing need," Polson said. "We hope to
continue our donations in times when the collections hit a slump
- before Thanksgiving, after Christmas and during the summer."

Cydcor puts a large emphasis on corporate philanthropy. In 2008,
the company launched Cydcor Cares' Volunteer Day and Neighborhood
Leaders Program, both of which are internal programs to encourage
team members to become more involved in their local communities and
volunteer their time to charity, occasionally during work hours.
Since 2007, Cydcor has maintained a partnership with Casa Pacifica,
a residential treatment facility in Camarillo for abused, neglected
and emotionally disturbed children.

area church groups and business organizations.

School

My daughter is having some problems at school with her art teacher.
I don't allow my daughter to use permanent markers. The art teacher
keeps telling her if she does not bring in a permanent marker she will
bring her grade down. The school list is ridiculous anyways, I don't feel
us parents should have to buy the teachers supplies. But she came
home yesterday all upset and I told her if this continues that I will
go to school and have a meeting with her teacher.

What have adults learned

A friend of mine sends me little jokes alot. I thought this
was cute. Some of it is true though.

Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.
There is always alot to be thankful for if you take the time to look. For example: I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.
One reason to smile is that every seven minutes of every day someone in an aerobics class pulls a hamstring.
Car sickness is the feeling you get when the monthly payment is due.
The best way to keep kids at home is to make a pleasant atmosphere and let the air out of their tires.
Families are like fudge....mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
Laughing helps. It's like jogging on the inside.
Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the toy.
My mind not only wanders; sometimes it leaves completely.
If you can remain calm, you just don't have all the facts.

Cell phones for kids

Many kids now days want cells phone. My 10 year old wants
a cell phone real bad. But she hardly leaves the house. I
told her if she does all her chores and saves her money she
can buy herself a prepaid phone to start out. Then once
she gets a little older and she has more sleep overs and
things then I would put her on my cell plan. I want to teach
my child responsibilty. And how to work and earn what she
wants. I don't just hand my child everything. She works
hard to get those things she wants. And by doing this
it is really paying off, she has the up most respect for
me, she sees how hard I work to get the things she needs
and she values it now. She also has respect and manners.
I think some parents are slacking on teaching their
certain things like this in life.

Laughter

This another great bit of advice for laughter. We
all need some laughter in our lives. Sometimes it's
hard to do thought.
It's impossible to worry when laughing.
Humor cuts stress level.
Laughing helps you stay happy and healthy.
Train yourself to look for the comedy in your choas.
A sense of humor is the number one survival skill.
Humor helps us cope, conquer and carry on.
A good laugh is not only the result of humor, it is
often also the cause.
The best exercise is jumping for joy.
We begin to solve our problems when we begin to see
the humor in them.
When we feel like laughing the least , we need it most.
If it feels good to laugh, then laugh to feel good.
A sense of humor is not inherited, it is learned.

Soul Mates?

How do you know if you have found your soul mate? Every man that I have been
with has cause me nothing but pain, and frustration. I can't really trust a man
anymore. They lie, cheat, and just try to control you and degrade you. Anyways
Here are some tips to know if you have your soul mate:
1) Life is easy when you're together. (If you fight alot, then he/she isn't the one.)

2) He/she is a mirror of you: some traits are like you and some traits compliment yours. (If you are with or want someone totally different than you, like stronger, richer, etc., he/she isn't the one.}
3) The timing when you met seems perfect. (If either of you are married, going off to war, or moving, he/she isn't the one.)

4) You mutually respect each other. (If either of you is disrespectful, abusive, or critical, he/she's not the one.)

5) Something bonds you deeply and causes a feeling of familiarity, i.e. you grew up similarly or both have a certain passion in life. (This doesn't mean he feels familiar because he reminds you of your controlling father; if there isn't a special bond that's healthy, he/she isn't the one.)

6) Your values are similar. (You don't have to agree on everything, but if basic beliefs like religion and politics are similar, he/she isn't the one.)

7) You have definite chemistry. (If you're not physically attracted, he/she isn't the one. A special note here that sexual addiction is not an indicator that he/she is your soul mate.)

8) Communication flows easily. (If it feels like the two of you are seldom on the same wave length, he/she's not the one.)

9) The relationship feels equal. (If one person has more power or is rescuing the other, he/she's not the one.

10)You have similar goals. (If your goals on money, fun, marriage, and life in general are quite different, he/she is not the one.)

11)You adore each other, even each other's idiosyncrasies. (If either of you criticizes the other, he/she isn't the one.)

12)The love is completely reciprocal. (If the love is one-sided, he/she isn't the one.)

They say you never find your soul mate until you stop looking. I don't
look and for some reason I haven't been so lucky. The one I got now
is very controlling, likes to treat me like a child, doesn't want me
to work, like to get me things then when he is mad he takes them
back. I don't feel like he loves me at all. So I know he's not the
one for me.
