A walk around the block is good for your heart,
both physically and emotionally. When you invite
your children to join you, your walk becomes
relationally beneficial as well. Just getting
outside and enjoying life and nature is a great
conversation starter for you and your children,
but don't stop there. Use this time to ask a
thought-provoking question or two.
Walking next to someone, as opposed to conversing
face-to-face with constant eye contact, often
helps people open up more. Use this opportunity
to ask questions such as,"What do you like best
about our family?" or "What would you like to
ask me?"
